Thoughts on Simon Zelotes
Jesus called his disciples from several different walks of life. Now, what we know about the disciples outside of what is given to us in the Bible is a bit tricky to navigate. There are conflicting accounts and a lot of it is based on tradition and there isn't much as far as reliable sources to go off of. Deaf and Dumb: How David handled adversity

Rooted in Christ
"Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith..." - Colossians 2:7 VIDEO AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE What it means to be "rooted in Christ" is essentially that He becomes our life. Paul goes on in this same book to say that we are dead and that our life is hid with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). A plant will die if it is not connected to the roots. I am no botanist and I didn't pay too much attention in school, but I know that roots serve at least 2 major functions
