Can They Tell You've Been With Jesus?

"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus." - Acts 4:13

If you have a reference Bible you will see the amount of Old Testament passages the Apostles used when they preached. It really is incredible when you consider that these were the days before chapter and verse divisions which make it easy to navigate the scriptures. They for sure didn't have Bible software, concordances, or Google to look up appropriate verses for their message. In fact, these sermons were all given extemporaneously (a fancy word which means unprepared). The only way these men were able to preach like this is because they were 1) filled with the Spirit BECAUSE they were 2) filled with the Scriptures.
